Project Yellow Light Billboard Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must:
1. Be a high school junior or senior between the ages of 14 and 20.
2. Create a design for a billboard advertisement to encourage safe driving.

Sister Rita Jeanne Scholarships
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
1. Be a high school senior who is interested in journalism.

Marjorie Watson Mathematics Scholarship
$5,000 | Deadline: March 15, 2018 | 1 Award
The scholarship is intended for an incoming freshman attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga who majors in mathematics. This is a $5000 scholarship, with $2000 awarded in the freshman year, and $1000 awarded for each of the sophomore, junior and senior years.

Application materials should include: 1. Letter of application affirming an interest in a mathematics degree. 2. Two letters of recommendation affirming the applicant’s mathematics ability, at least one of which must be from a recent mathematics teacher. 3. Supporting materials, which should include ACT/SAT scores and high school transcripts. Renewal of the scholarship for the sophomore, junior, and senior years is subject to the recipient maintaining his or her math major status, a 3.0 overall GPA, a 3.5 mathematics GPA computed at the end of the academic year, and normal progress towards a mathematics degree.

QuestBridge College Prep Scholars Program
The QuestBridge College Prep Scholars program is for academically outstanding, low-income high school juniors. The free application opens in February and is available at www.questbridge.org. It is due on March 22, 2018.

Qualifications:
1. High School Junior
2. Typically in the top 5-10% of their class, earning mostly A's in the most challenging courses available.
3. Family earns less than $65,000 annually (for a typical family of four) with minimal assets.
​
Awards include:
Full scholarships to college summer programs at schools like Yale and Stanford
An invitation to a National College Admissions Conference to learn from admissions officer from top colleges
Quest for Excellence Awards, such as laptops and personalized essay review
Distinction as a competitive candidate for admission to our college partners
Specialized guidance and a head start on applying to college through the National College Match in their senior year
St. Mary Catholic Church Education Scholarship Program
The annual program awards at least two scholarships per year with a maximum of $20,000 per student per year. Application is open to any incoming freshman or returning college student as well as any incoming or returning technical school student from Meigs, Monroe, or McMinn counties. The deadline for applications will be accepted if complete and postmarked between January 1 and March 31 each year.

OppU Achievers' Scholarship
Criteria: To be eligible for the OppU Achievers Scholarship, a student must: Be enrolled full time in high school or at least part time in college, graduate, professional, or trade school; Possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0; Be a U.S. citizen.
Deadlines: March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31
Award Amount: $2,500
